Abby Oliveira
Born in Scotland in 1982, Abby Oliveira has lived in Northern Ireland since 1994. Abby is the winner of the Belfast Poetry Performance Cup 2006, beating off competition from over 34 performance poets from in and around Northern Ireland. She has a strong background in the Performing Arts, both as an actor and assisting with art and design work.
She recently facilitated performance poetry workshops in Toronto, Canada and was the literary festival facilitator for the Gasyard FĂ©ile of 2005. Abby has always loved the various forms of art, and her main interests include writing, painting, music, theatre and performance art.
