Ken Head
Ken Head is married, with two grown-up children and is presently based in Cambridge. He has been a teacher of Philosophy and English Literature and lived for many years in South-East Asia.
His poems appear regularly both online and in print, recently in Poets Against War, iota, Obsessed With Pipework, Ink, Sweat & Tears and Purple Patch. A number of his poems have been anthologized and several more are to be included in print volumes due out during 2009 from online zine Static Movement and a new speculative poetry publication entitled Anomalous Appetites, the brainchild of New Zealand poet John Irvine.
He has also contributed to poetry for the 2008 exhibition of Iranian-born artist Akram Rahmanzadeh at the Phoenix Arts and Media Centre in Exeter. His e.chapbook, from which the four poems recorded here have been taken, is available at Snakeskin and his weblog at Listening for Light.
