Born in Donegal, Ireland in 1970, Pamela Brown is a member of The Poetry Chicks performance poetry group, and has had two plays produced, one of which was performed at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh.

Her first collection of poems was published in 2000. Pamela has worked with Dutch photographer Jan Voster and their exhibition The Eye of the Horse – a collection of 22 photographs and corresponding poems – was exhibited at Art Festivals both in Ireland and Holland.

More recently, she has been working on poetry projects with primary school children and teenagers in Derry, facilitating workshops that have led to live performances, as well as working with local female writers in celebrating International Women’s Day. Pamela was also runner-up of the ‘Belfast Poetry Performance Cup 2006’.
